The Land of Enchantment Book Award is an exciting program designed to encourage         the youth of New Mexico to read outstandingbooks of literary quality.

A committee selects two lists of books -- children's and young adult. Then, New Mexico's  young people read and vote for the winners.

We are currently reading for our 2009/2010 list.

The Land of Enchantment Book Award is New Mexico's annual state Children's choice award. Click here for more information or here for frequently asked questions.

Both the children and young adult lists have have books to interest a variety of readers, and to provide a fun and engaging reading experience.   These reading lists will be voted on in April of 2009.
